These statues were made to be seen, from outside, in the garden around the house of the artist. Thus the idea came up, located in front of the home of artists and craftspeople from Chandolas, Pépit'Art.

Description

Alphonse Gurlhie was born in 1862 in Chandolas. He was one of those colourful characters that marked their era. Like the “facteur Cheval”, his work marks an important phase in the history of Outsider Art.
