Domaine Mas Héritage

The Mas Héritage estate covers 5 hectares, where plots of Syrah, Pinot and Riesling flourish. François Tissot, oenologist and winemaker, vinifies the wines in the traditional way, which you can find in the Les Sept pierres shop.

Description

The vineyard, located in the Coteaux de l'Ardèche PGI zone, allows the terroir to express itself to the full. The proximity of the Ardèche mountains ensures cool nights contrasting with the heat of the day, a contrast that brings a high quality of fruit with elegant tannins.

The Mas Héritage terroir is located on Cévenol Triassic sandstone, poor, filtering soils that produce fresh wines of great finesse.

The estate is run on an unclaimed organic basis. The watchword is to encourage soil biodiversity, notably through the use of compost teas. We are currently in the process of converting to AB and HVE.

The grapes are harvested by hand in crates, and some of the vinification is carried out using old-fashioned tools such as presses and crushers. The wine is aged in oak barrels.
