Château des Lèbres vineyard

Château des Lèbres, dating from the 16th century, is surrounded by 6.5 hectares of organically-farmed vines. Come and discover the magic of this place and its cuvées, which authentically reflect our terroir!

Description

Winegrower Sébastien Strohl de Pouzols welcomes you to the château's 16th-century vaulted cellars to introduce you to his organic wines. Covering 6.5 hectares, the vines are worked by hand, with deliberately low yields to guarantee the best quality and preserve our living soils. Our red, white and rosé wines, selected for several years by the Guide Hachette des Vins, are an authentic reflection of our terroir, with all its freshness and finesse. The estate has been awarded the "Vigneron indépendant", "Vignobles et découvertes", "Etapes savoureuses" and "Esprit Parc national des Cévennes" labels. Your visit will be an opportunity to discover the magnificent terroir of Banne, at the gateway to the Cévennes National Park, and the enchanting surroundings of the estate.

A wide range of events are offered throughout the year:

- Guided tour of the vineyard by the winemaker, followed by a gourmet tasting every Tuesday at 6pm in July and August.

- Every Thursday in July and August at 9:30 pm, you can discover the vineyard under the stars, followed by a gourmet tasting in the château's old cellars lit by candlelight.

- Vino Vélo on Wednesday mornings in July and August: mountain bike rides on a 20 km loop to discover the estate's surroundings, followed by a tasting of our vintages in the château's cellars. This activity can be booked off-season on request.

- Open-air cinema, concerts and group events...
