Description
Made entirely from Ardèche chestnut wood, the platform is designed for free use by experienced naturalists, school groups and tourists alike. Detailed signage guides visitors to the site, where explanatory panels explain the relationship between local livestock farming and vultures. There is also a telescope for close-up observation of the birds in flight. The site, financially supported by the Region and the Département, is part of an initiative to raise awareness of biodiversity, with the support of the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux (LPO).
